Like Marjorie and me, you have probably continued
to watch in disbelief as events have unfolded on the Gulf Coast, during and
after Hurricane Katrina. Knowing your generosity as I do all too well, I know
that you have all individually found ways to help our fellow citizens who have
become the victims of this catastrophe.
The Anthony Spinazzola Foundation is joining with Share Our
Strength, Open Table and Windows of Hope for one night to help provide relief
for hurricane victims including displaced restaurant workers and their families.
Restaurants for Relief: One Meal, One Night, One Nation will take place in top
restaurants across the nation on Tuesday evening September 27th,
2005. Each restaurant will make its own determination how to raise funds,
whether it be by giving a percentage of the proceeds, designating a specific
menu item or whatever works best for you and your customers.
